This year started by firing up our new mastering studio.  It came out great, although I thought it would never get finished!

It looks great thanks to Riley.  He cut the carpet tiles to match the pattern (just to let you know some of the tiles were from a different lot). Clients love it! It’s big, comfy and it even has a separate lounge for privacy.

Right from the start I mastered some good hip-hop from Aceyalone, Jupiter Rising,Busdriver, Jake Smith, Defari, Chali 2na, Dudley Perkins & Really Doe.

As for dance remixes I am still squeezing in Lady Gaga remixes that are carrying over from her hit album The Fame in 08 and I finished a bunch of La Roux singles and remixes…I really enjoyed mastering Space Cowboy’s Falling Down and other remixes and singles from Robyn, Cinema Bizarre, Marilyn Manson, One Republic, Flipsyde and Agnes.

Some R n B singles that are charting…Akon “I’m So Paid”, Jason Derulo “Whatcha Say” and Sean Kingston “Fire Burning”.

Other pleasurable sessions mastered were contemporary jazz albums from Sandeep Chowta, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, Craig Sharmat and Brian Culbertson.

With music being so diverse, here are some other projects that came in to be mastered:

Luce, Caitlin Crosby, Micaela Haley, Babylon Saints, Attica Freak Show, Fu Manchu, The Company Band, The Aggrolites, Rancid, Pennywise, Rick Sprigfield, ING-J and Lost In LA.
